2. Remove or reorder cities. Use the remove button on any card to delete a city. Your set is saved automatically in your browser.
3. Check day or night status. Each card shows a sun icon during the day and a moon icon at night, so you can tell if someone is likely awake.
4. Plan across timezones. Use the side-by-side times to find overlapping working hours or pick a call time that works for everyone.

How does the world clock work?

Our world clock uses the browser's built-in Intl API to display real-time time for any timezone. Add cities to see their current time at a glance, with no page reloads required.

Can I add multiple cities to the world clock?

Yes. Search for any city or use the quick-add buttons. Your selected cities are saved in your browser, so the same set reappears on your next visit on this device.

Does the world clock show day and night?

Yes. Each city card shows a sun icon during daytime (6am-6pm local) and a moon icon at night, so you can quickly tell whether it is a good time to call.

How many cities are available?

Over 100 major cities across all continents, including North America, Europe, Asia, Africa, South America, and Oceania. If a city is missing, pick the nearest major city in the same timezone.

Are the times updated automatically?

Yes. Times update every second in real time, so the displayed time always matches the actual local time in each city. You never need to refresh the page.

Does the world clock account for daylight saving time?

Yes. The clock uses the IANA timezone database through the Intl API, which automatically applies the correct DST rules for each city on the right dates.
